Biography

I am a happily married mother of two boys, ages 15 and 12.  I cannot say we have experienced 17+ years of wedded bliss.  I can say we always love each other. We are real people who have had real problems.  We also have a real God who has a master plan for us.

I have a degree in journalism, which goes hand-in-hand with my desire to write.  I have two additional degrees in education.  I like to learn.  These says I am focusing my learning more than ever in the Word.

I am a second-career high school teacher in the areas of social studies and mathematics.  I teach in a public school.  If it almost as challenging to be a Christian teacher in a secular school as it is to be a student.  Since I cannot tell my students about Christ, I try my best every day to live like Him.  Setting that example is often just what they need.
